Aggieville is two blocks away from the union, and has several eating/drinking establishments. This page has a complete listing. Everything on Moro or Laramie street is in Aggieville.
Airports:
Manhattan does have air service (MHK).
It is cheaper to fly into Kansas City (MCI), then shuttle to manhattan.
For shuttle service, there is KCI Roadrunner.
Highway:
Manhattan is just off I-70 (exit 313 from the east, exit 303 from the west)
